Advising Soravia on the leasing of the Austro Tower and on the closing for delivery to DEKA

SAXINGER has advised Soravia Investment Holding GmbH on the closing of the delivery of the Austro Tower, one of the tallest office towers in Austria, to the German real estate investor Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH. The closing of the transaction took place on 14th March 2022.

The AUSTRO TOWER is located next to Vienna's Donaukanal ("Danube Canal"), surrounded by the residential towers TrIIIple and the business district TownTown. The project was built according to ecological standards and is to be certified by both LEED and ÖGNI with PLATIN. With a height of 136 metres, it is one of the highest office towers in Austria.

SAXINGER partners Dr. Immanuel Gerstner (lead partner) and Dr. Lukas Leitner (Corporate/M&A, Real Estate) as well as lawyer Mag. Jana Seywald (Real Estate, Public Procurement Law) advised SORAVIA since 2018 on all legal aspects concerning the Austro Tower, in particular on the construction, the lease as well as the sale and delivery to the new owner.
