SAXINGER advises the I.K. Hofmann Gruppe on its investment in the VACE Group

SAXINGER advised I.K. Hofmann GmbH and its subsidiary KMU Invest GmbH on the acquisition of a majority stake in VACE Beteiligungs GmbH. As part of the transaction, the Hofmann Group acquired a 51% stake in the VACE Group.

The transaction was closed at the end of April following receipt of the required antitrust approvals. With this investment, the Hofmann Group is taking another strategic step to strengthen its market position in Austria and further expand its service portfolio in a targeted manner.

The VACE Group, headquartered in Linz, is an established technology and HR consultancy with a focus on engineering, IT services, technical training, and HR consulting. The company serves both national and international clients and has a strong regional presence combined with extensive market expertise.

I.K. Hofmann GmbH, based in St. Florian, is one of the leading staffing service providers in Austria and pursues a sustainable growth strategy with a strong focus on quality. KMU Invest GmbH acts as the group’s strategic investment company and specifically supports partnerships with medium-sized enterprises.

As part of the transaction, the existing owner will remain invested in the company and continue to manage the VACE Group operationally. The aim of the transaction is to further strengthen the market position of both companies by leveraging shared synergies and securing sustainable growth in Austria.

The transaction team at SAXINGER was led by partners Gregor Haidenthaler and Roland Heinrich. The team also included Martin Gassler, Anna Rupp, Stephan Pree, and Julia Födinger, who advised the Hofmann Group on all legal matters related to the transaction.
