Acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles S.R.L. by Pierer Industrie AG from a notable German automotive manufacturer with the company’s subsequent liquidation and the continuation of the brand Husqvarna by KTM.

SAXINGER advised Pierer Industrie AG during its acquisition of shares in Husqvarna Motorcycles S.R.L. and Husqvarna Motorcycles NA LLC. in form of an Austrian intermediate holding company of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, as well as on the subsequent detachment of target companies from the group of the seller, on the closure of the company of Husqvarna Motorcycles S.R.L., on the termination of dealership contracts and on the sale of interests in the American distribution subsidiary to KTM AG. Furthermore, SAXINGER advises KTM AG on a new license agreement for the brand Husqvarna and the conclusion of new of dealership contracts.
