Advising the Norway-based, listed Hexagon Composites ASA and Hexagon Purus ASA on their investment in Cryoshelter GmbH

SAXINGER has advised Norwegian sustainable  technology Hexagon Composites ASA and Hexagon Purus ASA Mandates on their innovative investment in Austrian company Cryoshelter which has patented a liquid gas technology.

Cryoshelter GmbH was founded in Austria in 2008 and is a company that deals with liquid gas tank technologies. The company has developed a patented technology for heavy-duty trucks and buses. The revolutionary technology is leading in the industry and allows maximum use of space. Together with Cryoshelter, Hexagon will continue to develop the technology.

The two SAXINGER partners Dr. Immanuel Gerstner and Dr. Lukas Leitner played the leading role in the transaction; they were supported by Dr. Roland Heinrich (labour law), Mag. Philipp Reinisch (IP/IT) and Dr. Christina Hummer (direct investment control).

Project details

Hexagon Composites ASA has acquired 40% of Cryoshelter’s liquefied natural gas business with the option to acquire the remaining shares in the next 5-10 years. In parallel, Hexagon Purus ASA will acquire 40% of the liquefied hydrogen business – once more with the option to acquire the remaining shares within 5-10 years.
