SAXINGER Advises Josko Group on Acquisition of Glastech GmbH from LiSEC

SAXINGER successfully supported the Josko-Scheuringer Group in the acquisition of Glastech GmbH from the LiSEC Group. The Upper Austrian premium manufacturer of windows and doors has integrated the Lower Austrian insulated glass producer Glastech into its corporate group.

Glastech will operate as a sister company to Josko Fenster & Türen and Eurosun Sonnenschutz, contributing to the internal production of insulated glass – a key factor for the quality of Josko's window products.

Previously part of the LiSEC Group, a leading manufacturer of machinery and software solutions for flat glass processing, Glastech’s sale allows LiSEC to focus more intensively on its core business, particularly the development and construction of machinery and software for flat glass processing.

SAXINGER provided comprehensive legal support to the Josko-Scheuringer Group throughout all phases of the transaction – from due diligence and contract negotiations to the legal implementation of the acquisition. The lead SAXINGER team included partners Gerald Schmidsberger and Bernhard Gonaus (both Corporate / M&A), Roland Heinrich (Employment Law), and Oskar Takacs (Real Estate, Public Law). They were supported by associates Laura Mair (Corporate / M&A) and Lukas Reiter (Employment Law).

The seller was represented by Schönherr, led by Michael Magerl and Marion Schimböck, with support from Hannah Lichtenwagner (Schönherr Linz office) and Christoph Cudlik (Public Law / Environmental Law), who guided LiSEC through the sales process.
