Insolvency register
What is an insolvency register?
The Insolvency Register is a publicly accessible database forming part of the Public Notices Register established by the Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ). It serves to record data which, under insolvency legislation, must be made public, such as the opening of insolvency proceedings, the winding up of insolvency proceedings, the closure of the debtor company, or the intended lease or sale of the debtor company, all of its movable fixed and current assets, or a part thereof necessary for its operations, or any immovable property. Insolvency practitioners enter the publications they are required to arrange into the Edict File electronically, independently and on their own responsibility.
