Inspection of the Land Register
What is the meaning of inspection of the land register?
Everyone has the right to inspect the Land Register and thereby obtain information about the legal relationships relating to the properties (principle of public access). Access may be obtained, subject to payment of costs, at a court, from solicitors or notaries, or via the internet by printing out the required data from the land registry database (land registry transcript / land registry extract) or the relevant electronically recorded deeds from the judiciary’s electronic deeds archive. Documents from the document collection that have not yet been digitised can only be inspected directly at the court where they were added to the document collection.
