Foreclosure sale
At the creditor’s request, authorisation may be granted to commence auction proceedings if the creditor holds an enforceable claim. A compulsory auction is the public sale of movable and immovable property as part of enforcement proceedings. The creditor may satisfy their claim from the proceeds of the sale. The highest bidder in the auction proceedings acquires ownership of the immovable property upon the award of the lot, and thus even before registration in the land register.
