Background
Dr Wojciech Dubis has been a partner at SDZLEGAL Schindhelm since 2006 and is the head of the department for court and arbitration court proceedings law and European Union law.
From 1988 to 1993, he studied law at the University of Wrocław. From 1993 to 1995, he was a trainee judge at the district court in Wrocław. From 1995 to 2002, he was an assessor and civil judge at Wrocław-Krzyki district court.
Since 2002, he has been registered on the list of attorneys-at-law at the Wrocław Bar Association.
Dr Wojciech Dubis had been a research assistant since 1993 and was appointed a university lecturer at the Institute for Civil Law and International Private Law at the University of Wrocław in 2002. He gained the title of doctor of law and is currently a lecturer at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Wrocław.
In addition, Dr Dubis is an employee of the Centre for Research into the Legal and Economic Problems of Electronic Communication (CBKE) of the Faculty for Law and Management at the University of Wrocław.

Dr Wojciech Dubis is registered as an attorney-at-law since 2002. He advises domestic and foreign companies in the field of court and arbitration court law. As a former judge, he has many years of experience in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution. Accordingly, he is the head of the firm’s department for court and arbitration court proceedings law and European Union law.
He represents clients primarily before ordinary courts and the Supreme Court in civil and commercial matters and before the arbitration courts in civil and commercial matters.
Dr Wojciech Dubis advises clients on issues of European Community (EC) law and on international private law. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr Wojciech Dubis also predominantly works as a lecturer at the Institute for Civil Law and International Private Law at the University of Wrocław.
Dr Wojciech Dubis is also specialized in the area of information technology, primarily computer and telecommunications law and electronic media law. He is an employee of the Centre for Research into the Legal and Economic Problems of Electronic Communication (CBKE) of the Faculty for Law and Management at the University of Wrocław.
Dr Wojciech Dubis regularly publishes specialist books and specialist articles on topics of civil law, commercial insurance law, consumer protection and electronic media law. He is also the co-author of commentaries such as the commentary on the Code of Civil Procedure in the area of unjustified enrichment, unlawful activity, product liability and leasing and insurance contracts. In addition, he is a co-author of the commentary on the law regarding the special conditions for the purchase of consumer goods. He also gives presentations at conferences and specialist congresses.
