Background
Hanno Liebmann has been a partner at SAXINGER since 2010. Previously he worked as a lawyer in Vienna and before that from 1996 to 1998 in Paris. He has been a lawyer since 1993.
Hanno Liebmann completed his degree course in law at the University of Graz. Graduated with a degree in law (Mag.iur.) in 1987. Between 1988 and 1993 he was an associate at commercial law firms in Vienna. During this traineeship, Hanno Liebmann completed his doctorate at the University of Vienna. Doctorate in law, with the title “Dr.iur.”, in 1992, passed his lawyer’s examination in 1993 with distinction.
From 2009 to 2017 he was a lecturer for Rail Technology and Mobility studies.

Hanno Liebmann specializes in public procurement law, construction projects, and the railway sector. He advises public contracting authorities and contractors, supporting national and international procurement processes, infrastructure projects, as well as public and private construction and transportation projects.
His key areas of expertise include permitting and procurement procedures, contract and claim management, legal opinions, alternative dispute resolution through expert determinations and arbitration, as well as litigation.
Hanno Liebmann is well known for his numerous lectures, teaching assignments, and publications, including his commentary on the Railway Act.
According to the Trend Ranking, he is among Austria's top 10 lawyers in public procurement law. He also regularly receives recognitions from leading legal directories, such as Chambers, Legal 500, and JUVE.
