Background

Since 2014 Cristina Turcato is a partner of Dike Schindhelm.

Between 2012 and 2013 she has been a self-employed lawyer.

Between 1995 and 2011 she has collaborated with various law offices in Bologna.

In 1998 she has been admitted to the bar in Bologna.

In 1995 she has graduated from the University of Bologna with a degree in legal studies.


Cristina Turcato assists Italian companies in particular in the area of commercial and company law as well as in the area of in-court and out of court litigation.

She provides legal assistance in connection with insolvency procedures and situations of company distress, including the relating legal actions started by and against the organs of the insolvency procedures.

Cristina Turcato has significant experience as a lawyer appointed by the insolvency courts and the section of the Court of Bologna in charge of compulsory executions with frequent nominations to exercise custody in connection with the execution procedures concerning real estate.

She provides assistance to banks in their judicial activities concerning both the ordinary debt recovery and the risk evaluation in the framework of insolvency procedures.

Cristina Turcato has a particular experience in providing continuous legal assistance to companies from the fashion industry.

  • Judicial and extrajudicial assistance in favour of the commissioner of three proceedings of voluntary composition with creditors opened before the Court of Prato and concerning an important Italian industrial group in the textile industry including the due diligence prior to the homologation of the plan.
