Dr. Michael Pachinger

IP / IT, Contracts and Standard Terms

“At SAXINGER, we strive to offer our clients the best advice. In particular with cutting-edge topics, we frequently have a pioneering role with innovative solutions."

During my degree course and my lawyer training, I spent various spells abroad, among others in Brussels, Strasbourg and Barcelona.. My goal right from the start was to work in an international environment. The decision to join SAXINGER was therefore not a difficult one as the law firm offered me the chance to work on challenging and exciting mandates for international companies. A fundamental positive of my work is therefore also the advising of domestic and foreign clients in English, French and Spanish.

In the course of the training at SAXINGER, which covered all the major areas, my current consulting focus, IP/IT, then soon developed. The exciting thing about my job is that we frequently deal with entirely new and current problems, particularly in the area of IP/IT, and can thus be creative and innovative to a very high degree. The ultra-modern equipment in our office in Wels, the competence centre of SAXINGER for IP and IT law, offers the perfect working environment for this.

SAXINGER epitomises a high level of quality in mandate work. In my opinion, the law firm consistently keeps its promise in this respect. The further and ongoing training of the lawyers is therefore correspondingly important for us. Here, too, SAXINGER encourages and supports innovative paths. I myself completed an additional international course of training in the future-oriented topic of data protection. As an accredited EuroPriSe Legal Expert, I assess IT products and web-based services as part of certification procedures for the European Privacy Seal “EuroPriSe”, which certifies the compliance of an IT product and/or a web-based service with EU data protection laws.
