Background

Christoph Kölbl has joined SAXINGER in April 2024 as an associate in Linz.

During his studies at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz he completed several internships and worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Corporate and International Commercial Law and at the Department of Law and IT at Karl-Franzens-University Graz

After completing his degree in law (Mag. iur) in 2017 and his doctorate (Dr. iur.) in 2023, he has worked as a research associate at University Graz, for various international law firms and as a legal officer for the office of the State Government of Upper Austria. 

His doctor thesis covered the topic of private enforcement in state aid law was awarded with the renowned “Jean Monnet Science Award for European Law” of the Austrian Society of European Law.
